Bristol's Pet Shimmers dropped the news of their second album of the year with its absorbing lead track 'Imber' just a couple of weeks ago. Back with a misty video for the second taste of Trash Earthers, 'Live-In Atrocity' is an expansion on the collective's dense, lo-fi sound. More ominous than other track we've heard of theirs, hectic beats open the track beneath Oliver Wilde's distinctive, droney vocals. Kicking in with a full band sound just after the 35 second mark, processed backing vocals and fizzing bitcrushed elements wriggle wildly through any holes in the mix. Trash Earthers will arrive on the 2nd of October on super limited red and black vinyl. -Holly Mullineaux
